17th July fine weather here

Today is the second day of the Chod Puja and everyone can chant and play the instruments in a very orderly manner. We are actually in the puja the whole day except for a 2 hours break for lunch and dinner. Everyone is doing wonderfully.
Yesterday afternoon at 2 pm, I had a nice time doing video conferencing with Singapore KKBC members and managed to greet Sherab Rinpoche online. That is really a wonderful part of technology.
The regular surfer of my blog who gives her knowledge of flowers is fantastic and I am really eager to know what the flower I posted is and what function the flower has. I take photos of flowers and plants in wherever I find them when traveling. Thanks to Meng.

Panoramic view of Rose Garden

Before our programme started, we visited the rose garden nearby which has so many different types of roses blooming. It is really a beautiful garden.

Dear Rinpochela,

I am not certain of this flower. It seems like a Spiraea genus of about 80-100 species of shrubs. Very cheery colour! And the gorgeous rose garden is very well-maintained.

It would be helpful for flower identification if the photos reveal some of the leaves. The leaf edges, veins, arrangement, stems etc can narrow the identification.

cheers,
meng

Whatever species it is, beauty is in nature with the leaves, flowers, stem and being a living thing.

Thanks for the wonderful sharing.
